Veterans from any branch of the US Armed services with an honorable discharge.
Minimum age of 18.
Must be mentally and physically capable of performing the assigned duties in the U.S. VSOC
All enlisted and Commissioned applicants must submit:
-A completed application
-A copy of their DD214
-Educational/degrees or certificates
-Professional Licenses
Applicants with Disabilities are encouraged to join. The U.S. VSOC does not discriminate.
We collect dues from our members at a rate of $10 per month.
-Any person with felony convictions
-Any person who have received a Dishonorable discharged from the armed forces.
-Any person who advocates violence against the US government or any of its agencies.
UNIFORMS ARE NOT PROVIDED AT THIS TIME! WE ONLY PROVIDE THE USVSOC BRANCH TAPE AND PATCH!
The U.S. VSOC wears the current OCP US Army uniform.
If you have awards from prior service (i.e. service badges like jump wings, combat patches, or awards like combat infantryman's badge,) you may wear them.
Rank is ASSIGNED based on prior service and current skills and abilities.
This uniform is required for all drills unless stated by command staff.

PT UNIFORM
At some point we will be wearing the Army PT Uniform, however this is not required currently. That will be announced at a later date by command staff.
DRESS UNIFORM
At a later date, we will be wearing the former Army Dress Blue Uniform. This will be worn for our once a year U.S. VSOC Ball.
This is not required at this time.
Uniform Appearance Standards
While the U.S. VSOC is not part of the U.S. Military, we do maintain basic appearance standards for all members while in uniform to promote professionalism and uniformity.
Facial Hair
Facial hair is permitted but must be neatly groomed. Any areas not grown out should be clean-shaven on the day of drill. Styles such as braids, beads, or decorative elements are not allowed.
